Bridge Street Construction Update
Monday, July 20, 2009, 11:00 AM* Concrete footings to be poured Tuesday & Wednesday of this week. Back fill to be placed and compacted starting Monday July 27, 2009.
* Form trucks at site for wall panels expected on July 23, 2009. Wall concrete will be placed by a pump truck. Site access will be both front & back during this time period. Walls are expected to be poured July 30 & 31.
* The water line will be moved after 2 p.m. sometime during the week of July 27th. 24 hours notice will be provided by the Shelburne Falls Fire District. We do not yet have an exact date.
* During the 1st week of August steel framing is expected to start.
* All dates are weather dependent.
* The contractors & The Select Board members are very aware of the Bridge of Flowers Road Race on August 8, 2009. We have been assured that no digging on Bridge Street will take place before that date.
