Supporting Local Charities

The race has a long history of donating race proceeds to local non-profits, and the race currently partners with several charities to use the race as a fundraising platform.

Runners have 3 engagement options this year:

  1. You can state that you are happy the race supports good works, and not direct funds to any specific charity.
  2. You can specifically direct funds to one of the participating charities
  3. You can actively fundraise through a customized pledge page.

The 2017 Charity Partners are: (in order of joining the race)

The Bridge of Flowers Road Race Requests Proposals from Charity Partners

The Bridge of Flowers Road Race is in its 39th year of operation and its 9th year of actively partnering with area charities to help raise awareness and funds for building stronger communities. The Race Committee handles organizing the entire event, which generally draws 1,000+ runners, joggers, and walkers. Charity partners are able to use the race as a platform for their own fundraising. Partners provide volunteers to help with certain race duties and encourage their support base to walk or run in one of 2 races (3K or 10K) and collect pledges that go to the partner charities.
