Description

The West County Resiliency Group presents a forum on the efficiency, safety and health aspects of wood burning as a source of home heating. There will be a panel of knowledgeable folks to address various issues, with time for questions and discussion.

The panel will consist of Gary Goodemote from Friends of the Sun stove company in Brattleboro, Vt., speaking on woodstove efficiency and legislative issues, Rick Bardwell, Chief of the Shelburne Fall fire Department speaking on chimney safety, and Madeline Liebling, Shelburne Falls resident speaking on health and environmental aspects of wood heating.

The panel will be moderated by Stefan Racz, Buckland town councilor.

The forum is free and open to everyone interested in the topic.
