“ETHICS & EFFECTIVENESS: Exploring the Relevance of Active Nonviolence to Our Efforts at Social Change”
An evening workshop led by Randy Kehler to better understand the principles and practices of ‘Active Nonviolence’ and their potential for strengthening and making more effective various local, regional, national, and/or global campaigns and other efforts we’re involved in (or considering becoming involved in) whose aim is to overcome war, hatred, intolerance, inequality, discrimination, environmental destruction, and/or other forms of cruelty and injustice.
Please come and help us explore this important topic. All are welcome!
Randy Kehler is a long-time activist and community organizer, and a co-founder of the Traprock Center for Peace and Justice. He is currently a co-coordinator of the Safe & Green Campaign, whose goal is to retire the “Vermont Yankee” nuclear reactor in nearby Vernon, VT, and replace its electricity with energy conservation and safe, renewable sources of power.
