Ad to Promote Region

Mohawk Trail Association Promotes the Shelburne Falls Area
(2/3/09)  Sunday, May 10, 2009, readers across the Northeast will open their papers to a special Sunday Supplement newspaper insert published by the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism. The publication will include an advertisement for Shelburne Falls and the Mohawk Trail region, placed by the Mohawk Trail Association. The ad will offer a free Mohawk Trail Guidebook which includes events, ads and listings from scores of businesses in the area.

1.2 million copies of the publication will be inserted in papers in key areas designed to draw tourists to this area, including: The Boston Globe, Cape Cod Times, New Bedford Standard Times, The Berkshire Eagle, The Springfield Republican, and the Worcester Telegram & Gazette in Massachusetts; The Hartford Courant and New Haven Register in Connecticut; The Portland Maine Telegram; The Concord New Hampshire Monitor and The Manchester NH Sunday News.

The distribution will extend down to New Jersey to the Bergen County Record, Herald News, and the Newark Star Ledger; and to New York to the Westchester Journal News, New York Newsday, and The Albany Times Union. Readers of Valassis Providence in Rhode Island will also receive the promotional insert.
