Valley Jazz Divas Concert Benefits Seniors

“ Divas and Divine Desserts” Saturday, May 2nd

The Valley Jazz Divas, a fun and talented trio of women, backed by a full rhythm section will perform 7-9pm on Saturday, May 2nd in Shelburne Falls. Proceeds from the event benefit services and programs for local elder adults administered by the Shelburne Senior Center.

Help for Small Business Financing

CDC Workshop supports needs of area businesses

(4/2/09) The Franklin County CDC is sponsoring a seminar on Securing Business Financing to be held Tuesday, April 21, 8:15am-9:45am at the Visitor's Information Center, Shelburne Falls.

The free event is offered to help entrepreneurs develop plans for obtaining financing to further develop their businesses.

Participants will learn about the lending process, red flags for lending, borrowing in this environment, sources of financing the choices and differences of lenders, lending tips to be aware of, personal credit issues, FAQ and a case study that highlights some of these issues.
