Our spring breakfast is open to all members and non-members. Meet new friends and network while enjoying a wonderful breakfast at a local establishment. Hear about what the Greater SFABA has been up to and its plans for the year.

 

Bridge of Flowers Plant Sale

Bridge of Flowers Plant Sale

May 18 from 9 am til noon at the Trinity Church's Baptist Lot in Shelburne Falls. 

Sale includes perennials from the Bridge as well as from fine local gardens. In addition there will be geraniums, annuals, a selection of gently used ornamental pots, nursery propagated wildflowers from Hillside Nursery, and garden related books, art, and other items. Bring the family to this beautiful event!  Live music, exhibits, and a parade all support the Deerfield River Watershed.  Face paintings, activities and excellent food, Shelburne Falls and the surrounding towns are putting on this extraordinary event that is fun for all ages.

Love to golf?  No?  That's OK!  Come find your inner Tiger Woods at Edge Hill Golf Course.  You love to golf?  Remind the aforesaid why they don't golf.  Get your team of 4 together, explore the full bar, and eat a chicken BBQ.  If you win, you get your names engraved on the championship trophy alongside the heroic winners of years past.

Yankee Doodle Days

July 26-28, 2013, Charlemont Fair Grounds

Yankee Doodle Days like many fairs is a weekend event. It is The Friends of The Charlemont Fairgrounds largest fund raising event of the year. The monies gained from this go towards restoration of the grandstand. Below you will find a listing of the major events for each day and below that a listing of all the vendors by category.Yankee Doodle Days is best know for it's tremendous and thunderous Demolition Derby and it's all wonderful illuminating Fireworks display !!!

Iron Bridge Dinner

Sunday, August 18, 2013, Iron Bridge 6:00 PM (Seating at 5:30 PM)

Modeled after a similar community dinner in France, this unique event features a single table set with linens and china for 400 people along the entire span of the Iron Bridge over the Deerfield River that connects the towns of Buckland and Shelburne. Diners have a wonderful view of the world famous Bridge of Flowers.

Moonlight Magic
