Community Conversation About Discrimination & Hate Speech

Facilitators from The Collaborative for Educational Services are hosting this workshop to bring the community together to address the harmful effects of discrimination, hate speech, and other topics, at the request of the Mohawk Trail and Hawlemont School Districts.

We'll begin with a light dinner and casual conversation, then move into understanding the landscape of hate speech through shared insights and define it within a specific school context.

You'll participate in small group collaborative planning and leave with a "tool kit" for continued engagement to address bias and hate speech.
