Art Walk Poster May2016 v1If you participated in our Art Walk in April, then we're sure you will not want to miss this one! If you were not there in April, then make sure you don't miss out twice!

Art Walks are a wonderful way to experience this thriving arts community with businesses offering special events like book signings, artist receptions, new exhibits, and musical offerings.

Please note the new time: 2pm-6pm.

Pick up an Art Walk Map at the Village Information Center, 75 Bridge St, or at any of the following businesses, and guide yourself to each of these art events from 2-6 pm:

Shelburne Senior Center, 7 Main St
Displays feature a five foot tall egg shaped art piece covered with 25 individual mosaic designs created by 17 local seniors.  Additional work and sales by local artists Look for the large mosaic covered "kinky boot”. Refreshments will be served.

Shelburne Arts Cooperative, 26 Bridge St
"Anything Goes!" A group show by artists at the Shelburne Arts Cooperative.

Molly Cantor Pottery, 20 Bridge Street
"Lil' Birds", a new exhibit of original scratchboard drawings from Greenfield Artist Karen Gaudette. Hands-on art making- visitors are invited to learn the art of scratchboard drawing.

McCusker’s Market, 3 State St
'Iris', a messenger in Greek Mythology - an exhibition of paintings - includes articles relating to current concerns, including possible solutions.  Intention: to encourage viewers to ask:  "Am I framing my conclusions based on objective findings?"

Salmon Falls Gallery, 1 Ashfield Street
"The joy of balancing on minimal ground thrills me," says Ashfield painter Q Li Holmes on her website. In this exhibit, Q explores the theme of “Bird & Circles,” pairing down the idea to its simplest Zen forms.  Join the artist for her talk titled “Hamburger vs. Dumpling” at 4pm sharp. Her reception continues until 6:30pm with the music of Philipe & Peter, songs from the Great American Songbook.

HOW DO WE CULTIVATE KINDNESS? RESPECT DIFFERENCES? BUILD BRIDGES? 
Come to The Art Garden to share your thoughts through art & conversation, after the ArtWalk, 6pm-8pm. Write, draw, and collage on a temporary interactive mural. No prior art experience necessary. Light refreshments will be served.
