Conway Festival of the Hills
Description
Since 1962, Conway’s Festival of the Hills has welcomed visitors the weekend before Indigenous People’s Day (formerly Columbus Day) to celebrate community spirit and artistic talent.
This cherished local tradition features a Sunday full of events:
- 10 kilometer/ 6.2 mile road race through Conway’s hills and hollows
- Contests of strength and skill in log-splitting and skillet-toss (our signature event)
- Fall parade down Main Street
- Arts and crafts
- Live music
- Mouth-watering food such as fried dough offered by local vendors
- Fun activities for kids and the young-at-heart
