We are an independent youth baseball league founded in the 1950’s, for all boys and girls, pre-k through 6th grade from Buckland-Shelburne Elementary School.
Our league competes against other teams organized under our parent organization, Mohawk Youth Baseball, which is made up of teams throughout the Mohawk Trail Regional School System plus Chesterfield.
We are privately operated and funded. Players pay a registration fee to participate, which covers their uniform and insurance. We rely on team sponsors and donations from the community to further fund our league.
The teams led by parent coaches, who volunteer their time year after year. These coaches put an extraordinary number of hours into their teams, both on and off the field. Many coaches are also Board Members and/or Directors. The planning for our season typically begins in January and runs through the end of our playing season. There are many people working behind the scenes to give our players the best experience possible.
