Our Hills Are Alive With Music!

From our nationally recognized chamber music concert series to the Shelburne Falls Military Band, the oldest in the country, to our annual Porch Music Festival, there are plenty of musical events to enjoy.

Many of our local businesses host music performances every week, year-round. You can also experience traditional folk styles at a local play or from a fiddle, listen to original music or rock at a local brewery, or enjoy reggae at a festival in Charlemont or a block party in Shelburne Falls.

Shelburne Falls Military Band Concerts (All Summer)

Join us all summer for concerts every Wednesday night all around western Franklin County.

Concerts are free to the public!

Bring a lawn chair and cash for refreshments, then sit back and enjoy popular music - old and new.

Mohawk Trail Concerts (June & July)

Chamber music, played at the highest level, in a beautiful setting with fantastic acoustics.

All concerts are performed at the Charlemont Federated Church. Come enjoy chamber music in this friendly and informal atmosphere.

Shelburne Falls Porch Music Festival (July)

Porch Fest features lively and diverse local musical acts, from folk and rock to jazz and classical.

Each year, more than 40 performances will be staged on the porches of homes throughout the village, creating a welcoming and intimate setting to enjoy live music.
