Photo Contest Rules
The contest was open to anyone: residents, visitors, business owners, organizations, and professional and amateur photographers.
Photos were required to be taken in the towns of Ashfield, Buckland, Charlemont, Colrain, Conway, Hawley, Heath, Plainfield, Rowe, Monroe, or Shelburne.
Each participant could enter up to eight photographs, each of which had to be labeled with the title, town, and photographer's name.
The deadline was July 16, 2024.
Photos were juried by the ShelburneFalls.com Committee with the help of some of our local photography professionals.
All images submitted may be used on the website. While photographers retain the rights to their work, by submitting, photographers grant West County Arts and Culture and our partners, including but not limited to the Shelburne Falls Initiative, the right to reproduce, distribute publicly, and/or use reproduced photographs in print or electronic publications, including blog posts, promotional materials, websites, and social media. West County Arts and Culture, Inc. will always attempt to credit any reproduced photograph(s).
