Before the famous Bridge of Flowers opened nearly 100 years ago, trolley cars rolled across the 5-arch cement span carrying passengers, mail, farm produce, and other freight from the town of Colrain to Shelburne Falls.
Today, you can follow the route of the historic Shelburne Falls & Colrain Street Railway Company on a guided or self-guided tour. Learn about the buildings, landmarks, and people that reflect it’s history.
And, you can ride on SF&C Car #10 - now fully restored after serving for years as a chicken coop - and still carrying passengers on a short section of original SF&C tracks at the Shelburne Falls Trolley Museum.
